A new manufacturer of safety systems

 

The main objectives of BALKAN-SAST Ltd. for the next two years are to establish solid positions on the markets in Bulgaria and in neighbouring countries through delivering basic systems and equipment for railway safety, which are compliant to EU requirements to this type of systems; to launch the production of state-of-the-art safety systems through direct transfer of technological know-how from AZD Prague – in compliance with the specific requirements of the national railway infrastructure managers in Bulgaria and its neighbours; to implement a full cycle of engineering services in efficient cooperation with leading Bulgarian and foreign companies from the railway infrastructure sector; in cooperation with high schools and scientific institutions to participate in the training of experts in the maintenance and operation of contemporary train control systems and traffic safety; to open new working places, which in 2006 will amount to 80 and in 2007, to 120.
